Benighted Films is in no way affiliated with Warner Brothers or J.K. Rowling. The official movies part one and part two are due to be released in 2010 and 2011. Which is still a long time to wait. The Half Blood Prince was released in movie theaters July 15, 2009 in the U.S.A. Since it is such a long ways away and the fact that the WB will probably mess up the best scenes anyways I decided to make a fan trailer for the Deathly Hallows with LEGOs.
The Deathly Hallows Trailer
Low Resolution on Youtube
Some interesting information about the project.
We only own three Harry Potter sets. You can check them out on Peeron. Of course this really creates some limitations on what scenes we could show but I think it worked out.
Gringotts Bank
Diagon Alley Shops
Forbidden Corridor
Here are pictures of two props that we made for trailer:
Hermione’s hand bag was made from a random piece of lace that was laying around. It was hand sewn with a ribbon as a handle. The goblet of Hufflepuff was made from normal sculpey.
